Our mission

Solana Network Learning Atlas exists to make the Solana network understandable. We believe that clear, structured education — delivered by patient educators rather than automated tutorials — helps people engage with the network safely and confidently.

We do not sell tokens, operate validators, or provide financial advice. Our work is reference and guidance: maps, walkthroughs, and sessions that explain how things work.

Our history

The Atlas began in 2019 when our founder, Dr. Priya Nair, noticed a gap between Solana’s technical documentation and the questions ordinary readers were asking. After years of academic research in distributed systems at the University of Birmingham, she started hosting informal study groups for colleagues curious about high-throughput blockchains.

By 2021, demand had grown beyond informal gatherings. Solana Network Learning Atlas Ltd was incorporated, and we opened our Birmingham office to offer structured orientation sessions, wallet security briefings, and staking overviews to individuals, journalists, and small teams.

Today we maintain a library of reference articles, a glossary of Solana terms, and a schedule of bookable learning sessions — all focused on understanding, not speculation.

Our educators

Dr. Priya Nair — Founder and lead educator. PhD in distributed systems, former lecturer at the University of Birmingham. Specialises in consensus mechanisms and network architecture.

James Okello — Security educator. Background in information security consulting. Leads wallet security briefings and contributes to our security reference materials.

Elena Vasquez — Research writer. Former technology journalist. Authors journal articles and maintains the glossary.

How we work

Every session starts with your questions. We adapt our structured curriculum to your background, whether you are a complete beginner or someone who has already read the documentation and hit a wall.

Sessions are available in person at our Birmingham office or via video call. We respond to enquiries within two working days and confirm bookings within 48 hours.
